Well done Tony!

Congratulations to Tony a technician from our Burnley branch for completing the London Marathon on Sunday in a speedy time of 3 hours 47 minutes! Raising an amazing £1,700 for East Lancashire Hospice. Great job Tony!  Tony was joined by almost 40,000 racers on Sunday including British Astronaut Tim Peake who took part aboard the International Space Station! Tim ran for 26.2 miles (42km) on a treadmill.

Curious who this year’s oldest participant was? Bedford Grandmother Iva Barr take part aged 88! She took part in her first race in 1981 and has had the bug ever since!
