The Perrys group represent 14 vehicle brands as a national car dealer group.
Perrys was founded in 1908, by Mr Harold Perry who founded a business selling car accessories, and in 1912 he was appointed as Ford’s main dealer for London. In 1982 the Perrys Group branched out into other franchises throughout the UK, starting with Vauxhall. This expansion towards the end of the millennium laid the foundations for the 51 car dealerships and 30 locations you will find today. Perrys group was one of the first dealer groups to venture online.
A management buyout in 2001, headed by the late Paul Millard made Perrys into one of the largest independently owned dealer groups in the UK. Soon after Perrys opened the first dedicated training centre in Barnsley, The Paul Millard Academy. Under the new management team, the opening of car dealerships ensued, from the South of England in Portsmouth to Nelson in the North West. Perrys represented brands which included Peugeot, Mazda, Citroen and KIA.
Perrys Dealer Groups
We are now one of the largest Mazda dealer groups in Europe. In 2015 Perrys group acquired the GK Dealer Group which had 8 Ford, Mazda and KIA used car dealerships across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. This was a categorical fit for us both in terms of brands and as a customer-focused dealer group. We then opened a secondary training centre, The Paul Millard Academy situated in South Aylesbury, to further drive our commitment to staff development and training.
We employ staff who are technically proficient, experienced, properly trained and passionate about passenger safety and delivering excellent customer service.
For peace of mind, you might like to know that we’re a member of the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA), which means that we commit to their exceptional aftersales standards to give you confidence when using our services. It’s great news for you, because as part of our membership we have to agree to very tight standards when it comes to your experience with any of our dealerships. Whilst the standards are second nature to us, they are also added peace of mind for you when you’re wondering what to expect from us when dealing with us for the first time.
