Pantomime icon, Christopher Biggins, is making a grand Christmas entrance on stage at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham – all thanks to a Renault Twizy.
The former ‘King of the Jungle’ on ITV’s ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here’, is currently playing the part of ‘Widow Twanky’ in Aladdin, and was keen to arrive in style on stage at the start of the show which runs up until the New Year.
Co-Wheels, the UK’s only independently owned national car club specialising in low emission hybrid and electric cars, came to Biggins’ aid by supplying the vehicle.
The Renault Twizy, a futuristic looking compact electric car is now being used by ‘Biggins’ to tread the boards at the theatre. It is an ideal motor for ‘Widow Twanky’ to whizz around the Theatre Royal in.
Indeed, it fits the bill perfectly and you can see the Twizy and Biggins in action in Nottingham up until January 10 2016.
