Kia have decided to take this great car and make it even better, and the upgrades cover the entire range from the 5 door hatch back, 3 door Pro-Ceed and the Sportswagon version. The Ceed has always been a model of quality, with the famous 7 year warranty and plenty of great reviews this car has been a big success especially in the European market. In May the 100,000th Ceed was produced in the brand’s Slovakian factory which just goes to show just how successful this model has actually been.

New GT Line Option

As well as a massive list of upgrades, toys and new engines Kia have decided to launch a sporty performance trim level called GT Line. This will very much fall in line with BMW’s M-Sport, Audi’s R-Line, and Skoda’s VRS options among others. It will give buyers the chance to grab some sporty styling options and some performance upgrades too. The GT Line models will cover the entire range so it is not just buyers of the three door car that will be able to get their hands on some sporty stuff.

The exterior styling will get a fresh look while keeping the trade mark “tiger grille”. There will be new designer wheel options, new LED lights, new shaped bumper and fog lights as well as a new look rear too. All this follows on from the new look Sportage of which images have recently been released.

All diesel models will get some excellent interior noise reduction upgrades to reduce engine and road noise even further. In general in the interior will keep the same theme across the range but the addition of some sleek new chrome and glossy black dash materials really add some extra style. There will also be a brown interior option for the extra high end feel with warm brown leather tones surrounding the driver and passengers.

The range of engines has increased and every one is compliant with the new Euro 6 emission standards. There is a new three cylinder turbo charged engine which delivers amazing economy numbers as well as offering immediate throttle response and a very positive driving experience. The Turbo charger system is part of a newly developed direct injection engine that will give drivers the power and performance they want with the economy figures they need. Every engine in the range has seen upgrades making sure Kia is not only at the forefront of stylish design but also of engine technology.
