The Hyundai i10 has been named as one of the top three cars to own in 2015, according to the Auto Express Driver Power survey.
Collecting data from more than 60,000 real-world drivers and Auto Express readers, the survey quizzed car owners on which car they drive and how satisfied they were with it overall.
Incredibly, Hyundai’s little i10 placed third in the overall ratings with a total satisfaction score of 93.59 per cent, making it one of the best cars to own this year.
Best supermini and third best car overall
Not only that, but the i10’s incredible score placed it at the top of the supermini category in the survey, putting it ahead of such popular rivals like the Ford Fiesta and the Vauxhall Corsa.
Steve Flower, Auto Express editor-in-chief, said: “The Hyundai i10’s result in Driver Power 2015 proves it’s a hot favourite with owners.
“Not only does it provide them with low running costs, but they also tell us that it’s proving to be reliable and well built, too. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t be a consistent performer in our survey for years to come.”
Since its release in January this year, the latest version of the Hyundai i10 has gone from strength to strength, picking up a huge range of awards in the meantime.
Among these include having been named the Best City Car by Fleet News late last month, having impressed with its high-quality interior, low running costs and five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai UK’s president and CEO, said: “The i10 is Hyundai’s best-selling model, so to have its key attributes praised by consumers shows us exactly why this car continues to be such a sales success.
“Thanks to its stylish looks, reliability, practicality, and, most importantly, affordability, the future looks bright for i10.”
New Premium SE trim available now
As well as that, Hyundai recently updated the i10 range with the addition of a new and well-equipped Premium SE trim, which adds a range of extra equipment and features.
Just some of the kit available with the new model includes 15-inch alloy wheels, heated seats and an electrically-operated tilting and sliding sunroof, plus rear parking sensors and climate control.
The Hyundai i10 range is available to buy from Perrys Hyundai dealership in Luton now, with prices starting from only £8,595, while the Premium SE model is priced from £11,995.
