Friday May 2nd – Land Rover Discovery Vision

Land Rover recently unveiled full pictures of the brand new Discovery Vision concept and it’s split opinions amongst enthusiasts. We wanted to see what you all thought to the new prototype and you all had some great things to say about the new 4×4, especially it’s awesome new futuristic features such as remote control driving and ‘transparent’ bonnet, get a full look on our page!

Sunday May 4th – Jaguar XJ220

We found this great picture of the Jaguar XJ220 and thought we’d quiz you to test your knowledge of classic Jags! Over 150 people correctly guessed this car to be the XJ220! With a production that lasted less than 2 years in the early 90s, only 275 were ever produced – so it’s likely a photo on Facebook is as close as you’ll come to seeing one!

Monday May 5th – The Bell Aurens Longnose

Here’s one you probably haven’t seen before! Based on a Series II Defender, the Bell Aurens Longnose was created by two German Land Rover enthusiasts in 2008. Designed to house a 1,500 HP Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 under the bonnet, German road law limitations meant the ‘off-roadster’ had to settle for a 235 HP Rover V8. Not quite as impressive, but we still love the quirky convertible!

Tuesday May 6th – Citroen GT

Another prototype from 2008, the Citroen GT was originally designed for the video game Gran Turismo 5. We’re glad that they made it into a real prototype (although Gran Turismo is likely the closest we’ll ever get to sitting in the driver’s seat!) and you all seemed to agree!

Wednesday May 7th – Ford Focus RS

Here’s a special one, straight from our forecourt in High Wycombe. Even more interesting – the photos were taken by our very own Sales Exec Kevin Sweeney, who moonlights as a budding photographer!

Handed in as a part exchange last week, this green Ford Focus RS is definitely one to make people stop and look!

Thursday May 8th – Lister-Jaguar XJS Le Mans

1 of only 90 examples ever produced, the Lister-designed modified Jaguar XJS had a 7 litre V12 engine and has the honour of being the first production car capable of over 200mph. More pictures of the Le Mans coupe are on our Facebook page, including a great shot of the beautiful Lister Recaro leather interior.
