Peugeot provides support to Children in Need

As part of the French manufacturers’ partnership with the charity, it is donating several of its vehicles from its current range to the BBC One Show which is running the ‘Rickshaw Challenge’ aiming to raise millions of pounds, when the team cycles from Llandundo in North Wales to London.

To support this challenge, Peugeot is providing three 508 RXH estate cars, an Expert van, a Boxer van and a Boxer Motor Home. These vehicles will support both filming of the Rickshaw Challenge and on the road living space for the participating team through their 411 mile journey.

On top of supporting this challenge, Peugeot is also donating a new Peugeot supermini for a contest called ‘Pudsey’s Dream Wheels’.

Hosted on a special online website, the contest allows the public to submit custom multi-coloured paint designs for a Peugeot 208, which you can then win if your submission is picked as the best.

A separate Peugeot 208 has already been used to promote the contest, where it was designed and promoted by TV personality Tamara Ecclestone. An online poll will be hosted to decide which ten designs will be nominated for Pudsey’s Dream Wheels and out of those a winner will be chosen and applied to a real 208 car.

Meanwhile, Perrys has launched a series of fundraising events for Children in Need including a 100-mile bike ride by the Perrys Peugeot of Bolton staff.

As for everyone else, UK motorists can buy a new Peugeot from the current range at Perrys Peugeot Dealerships located in Aylesbury, Blackburn, Bolton, Milton Keynes, Nelson and Portsmouth. The selection includes the 2012 208 supermini which starts from £9,995.
