Peugeot and Children in Need have teamed up to release Pudsey’s Dream Wheels, an online game where visitors can create their own dream car.
Peugeot, as the charity’s official partner, hopes the project will raise £150,000 for Children in Need and participants also have the chance to win their very own new Peugeot 208. Peugeot overall is hoping to raise half a million pounds.
The game lets people build their own dream custom car from more 13 categories available. Free to play, online modders can choose their car’s paint job, wheels, lights and more.
Visitors are also able to choose a number of other, more creative options to complement their design. Fancy a shark-fin roof scoop, for instance? Or how about side jets, an eye patch and a cape spoiler?
Cars are also rated for their safety and CO2 emissions, and players can put their name into the registration plate. When complete, people can then submit it to win a Peugeot 208 for a cost of £3.[YouTube:nqx6nO9wNdo]
This year’s Children in Need has a Grease theme, with Tamara Ecclestone, Matt Littler, Darren Jeffries and Pudsey all dressing up as the film’s characters to create their very own ‘Greased Lightning’ Peugeot 208.
Perrys has long been an advocate of Children in Need. This year their Perrys Peddlers have cycled 100 miles to raise money for the charity.
Perrys Peddlers completed their mammoth journey on August 4th, starting from the Perrys branch at Bridgeman Street, Bolton, and ending in Blackpool before cycling back the way they came.
Perrys Peddlers committed to cycling more than 250 miles this year to raise money for Children in Need, and are nearly halfway to their goal of £1,000. People can donate to Perrys Peddlers via their JustGiving page.
