In terms of media awareness, the 500 city car pretty much dominates the Fiat range, with off-the-wall advertisement campaigns and in some cases celebrity appearances – Jennifer Lopez.
But one of the latest Fiat Panda adverts has stolen the limelight.
As well as showing some great shots of the Panda city car on the road, it is supported by a voice over that explains its convenient features.
Here is the advert:[YouTube:ZcUy8_B3dVA]
By highlighting both its eight seat configuration and rear parking sensors, the advert represents the Panda as a multi-purpose vehicle that can function as both a city car and a ‘weekend away’ type of car.
The Panda’s new economical TwinAir engines are also acknowledged in the advert; which includes an 85bhp 0.9-litre petrol and a 75bhp 1.3-litre diesel, the petrol being the more economical of the two. Fuel saving start/stop technology is also used alongside the TwinAir engines.
The 0.9-litre TwinAir engine emits just 95g/km of CO2 emissions and is therefore exempt from road tax.
The Fiat Panda is a unique addition to the city car segment as its boxy rear end helps give it the appearance and practicality of an SUV, but with the low price tag of a city car.
Fiat Panda prices start from just £8,900.
Fiat vehicles are available from Perrys Fiat dealerships.
