After a year of production, the Evoque is still going strong with strong demand for the ‘baby’ Range Rover.
The £30,000 SUV continues to challenge the already established models of the SUV/crossover market segment with strong sales, according to the brand.
The Range Rover Evoque has become one of the most successful car releases of 2011 as its unique design took the media by storm when it was first unveiled as a concept at the North American International Auto Show in January 2008 as the Land Rover LRX.
Since then it has earned the Evoque nametag over 100 international accolades thanks to concept-car style, luxurious interiors and frugal but powerful engine options.
As the popularity of the Evoque has continued to accelerate, the waiting list for ownership of an Evoque spans all the way to 2013 as the manufacturer has struggled to keep up with the emergent demand of the lucrative model.
The stylish crossover design of the Evoque has also kicked off quite a craze amongst SUV enthusiasts and inspired other manufacturers to release similar models. The luxurious interior of the Evoque has also caught the eye as its design was overlooked by Victoria Beckham.
But even though the Evoque has earned itself a head turning and stylish reputation, it still packs a punch with a 2.2-litre eD4 diesel engine that can be specified with both 150bhp and 190bhp power outputs.
This engine is also incredibly efficient as it offers CO2 emissions as low as 129g/km, which helped it achieve the Car of the Year 2012 award by Diesel Car Magazine.
Range Rover Evoque prices start from just £27,995.
Range Rover vehicles are available from Perry’s Halifax and Huddersfield dealerships.
