The Vauxhall Vivaro medium-size panel van is the latest in the range to be given a new Ecoflex diesel delivering CO2 emissions of just 180g/km and fuel economy of 40.9mpg.
The new Vauxhall Vivaro Ecoflex will be able to travel up to 800 miles on a single tank of fuel and, more importantly for business drivers, now complies with the European emissions standards for new vans.
Vauxhall has been extending the Ecoflex engine range, the name given to its most frugal and efficient diesels, throughout its car and van models in the past year.
All of its cars and vans now come with the technology including the new Vauxhall Zafira Tourer, new Vauxhall Combo van and now, the Vauxhall Vivaro.
The Vivaro also comes with the option of a speed limiter that reduces CO2 emissions to 174g/km and boosts fuel economy by 1.6mpg to 42.7mpg.
“The New Vivaro ecoFLEX Euro 5 gives our customers improved fuel economy and lower CO2s,” said Steve Bryant, Vauxhall’s Commercial Vehicle Brand Manager. “Fuel economy and green credentials are top priorities for our customers looking to reduce running costs and the carbon footprint of their vehicles or fleets.”
The Vauxhall Ecoflex engines reduce CO2 emissions on the Vauxhall Corsavan to just 95g/km, the Vauxhall Combo to 134g/km and the largest van in Vauxhall’s range, the Movano, to 202g/km.
The Vauxhall Vivaro panel van starts from £18,848 before Vat with a standard roof and short wheelbase. However, long wheelbase, high roof, doublecab and 9-seat combi body styles are also available from Vauxhall UK dealerships.
