Children in Need 2012 may be over six months away but staff at a Perrys dealership are preparing for a gruelling fundraising event already.
In August, staff at the Perrys of Bolton dealership will take a break from selling the latest Peugeot cars and vans and take to the roads to cycle 100 miles to raise money for the charity.
At the moment, four members have joined the cycle team, which will set off from the dealership on Bridgeman Street, Bolton, and travel the 50 miles to Cleveleys on the west coast of England.
It will then turn round and come back again, taking in various towns and villages throughout the scenic route.
The staff at Perrys Peugeot of Bolton are not only looking for donations to the worthy cause, they are also looking for cyclists to join them in the fundraising event, which takes place on Sunday 5 August.
For more information in taking part, contact the Perrys Peugeot of Bolton dealership.
BBC Children in Need takes place on Friday 16 November 2012 and hopes to raise money for children across the UK.
The money raised is used to help disadvantaged children in the UK via a series of grants. It aims to ensure every UK child is safe, happy, secure and capable of reaching their potential.
Since its launch in 1927, it has raised over £600 million for UK children and Perrys Motors is happy to be doing our part.
