The first option to go on sale will be the three-door version of the city car but a five-door version will be available later in the year.
Seat will deliver the first three-door Seat Mii models in June 2012 but customers can order the stylish small car, one of three Volkswagen-built models including the VW Up and Skoda Citigo, from today.
The compact city car has been designed for the city with a length of just 3.55 metres and a small turning circle for congested city streets.
From launch three specification levels will be available with the Seat Mii; S, SE and Sport. Entry-level models include a CD player that can be updated to include MP3 connectivity at a later date and two speakers.
A separate S A/C trim adds air conditioning to the S specification for an extra £500, bringing the price up to £8,345.
Mid-range SE models add 14″ alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, heated door mirrors and a white dashboard. Prices for Seat Mii SE models start from £9,275.
At the top of the range the Sport trim adds 15″ alloy wheels, grey dashboard, new upholstery and tweaks to the suspension for better handling and a sportier ride.
Entry-level S models come with a 1.0-litre petrol engine delivering just 105g/km and developing 60PS. A more powerful 75PS version of the 1.0-litre petrol is available with SE models complete with automatic transmission.
There is also an eco-friendly ‘Seat Mii Ecomotive’ trim level fitted with stop-start system and energy recovery. This is the only road tax-free model and the petrol engine returns 67.3mpg to make it the greenest in the range.
Seat UK Product Manager Simon Bradley, said: “When you factor in unmistakable Seat style, and a generous dash of sunny Spanish character, I’m sure this city car will be in very high demand.”
The new Seat Mii is available to order now from Perrys Seat of Aylesbury.
