The popular small car has reached 100,000 sales within 12 months of going on sale, and the customisable car has been updated to include new colours for 2011.
The most striking is a new fuschia pink version, which adds a new graphic and pink paint colour to the roof of the DS3.
The pink colour continues on the door mirrors, wheels and inside the car on the dashboard and gearlever to complete the look.
Citroen has also launched a more subdued Hickory Brown body colour with matching roof design and two further ‘Sprint’ roof graphics to extend the personalisation options for supermini.
The car already comes with a varied selection of roof graphics, body colours and three interior specifications; DSign, DStyle and DSport.
A hot hatch version, the DS3 Racing, adds over 200bhp of power and two choice of body colour, including an eye-catching black and orange design.
The Citroen DS3 went on sale in the UK in 2010 to critical acclaim, winning Top Gear Magazine’s ‘Car of the Year’ in the process.
The first of three models to eventually go on sale under Citroen’s DS Line name, the DS3 was the first to receive the upmarket treatment with a new, higher quality interior, stylish design and long list of personalisation options.
The car is based on the idea of offering unique, bespoke options and to capitalise on its success, Citroen has also released special edition models designed by Orla Kelly, featuring unique prints by the designer.
Prices for the Citroen DS3 start from £11,700, but some of the personalisation options will add extra to the cost of the car.
The Citroen DS3 will be joined by the Citroen DS4 hatchback next month and a larger Citroen DS5 later in the year.
