A combination of financial pressure forcing more Brits to holiday within the UK and the rising cost of car ownership has convinced the car maker to release a range of reduced accessories for the summer.
These include practical accessories such as vehicle-specific roof bars designed to fit across most cars in the Vauxhall range.
Depending on the car, these are designed to carry luggage, bicycles and even kayaks – or any other equipment Vauxhall buyers need to transport across the country.
Roof boxes and racks start from £65 from Vauxhall dealerships throughout the summer, Vauxhall has revealed.
Other accessories in the range cover keeping people comfortable and entertained on longer journeys with items such as an iConnect FM, which charges an iPod while playing songs through the radio offered as part of the Vauxhall range.
The iConnect FM is priced at £130, but Vauxhall says this will include fitting the device into a Vauxhall car.
Other items such as privacy shades are also available from the Vauxhall range of accessories in the UK during the summer.
Vauxhall has already launched a series of 20 per cent offers across its range of cars, including the popular Vauxhall Astra hatchback and the larger models such as the recently facelifted Vauxhall Antara SUV.
As part of its series of offers, Vauxhall will offer ten per cent discount on all accessories for all Vauxhall Drivers’ Centre members until 31 October 2011.
Joining the Drivers’ Centre is free and also includes 20 per cent off all Vauxhall merchandise such as keyrings, model cars and VXR merchandise.
Perrys currently boasts 14 Vauxhall dealerships across the UK as part of its dealer network.
