Seat cuts price of five-door Leon

The Spanish manufacturer has cut prices of the Seat Leon Copa range, which was introduced earlier in the year to add extra equipment without raising prices.

Now Seat has gone the other way, lowering the price of a Seat Leon S Copa by £2,185 to just £13,995 for a limited period.

The offer applies to the 1.2-litre TSI petrol version of the Leon S Copa. Designed by parent company Volkswagen, the engine develops 105bhp and returns upwards of 50mpg of fuel economy.

However, it is not the only Seat Leon model to be reduced. The higher-spec SE Copa model has had £2,245 taken from its price tag.

This means the Seat Leon SE Copa now costs £14,695 – £700 more than the specification but adding a high-spec media system that includes satellite navigation, a touch screen, MP3 player, DAB digitial radio and Bluetooth connectivity in one package.

Launching the new Seat deals, UK Head of Marketing Steve Robertson said: “Seat has a well-known and well-deserved reputation for building dynamic, engaging and downright sexy cars.

“The arrival of the Copa trim level earlier this year, and the great offers we’re unveiling this summer, further emphasise that we can justly add ‘fabulous value’ to the long list of reasons for buying a new Seat.”

The Seat Leon reductions follow similar offers on the smaller Ibiza supermini in Copa specification. Seat is also cutting the price of the Altea and larger Altea XL, as well as the Exeo saloon and estate.

The ‘summer sizzlers’ offers run throughout the UK summer and include contract hire and other finance options alongside the reductions on the Seat car range.

Perrys in Aylesbury currently sells the full range of Seat cars, from the compact Ibiza to the large Seat Alhambra MPV.
