Available only on high-level Dynamique TomTom versions, the option includes a premium sound system, nine speakers, an integrated subwoofer and digital amplifier.
The system offers ‘an impressive sound quality throughout the cabin, with deep bass, clear tones and crisp treble’, according to the manufacturer.
It is also smaller and lighter than rival systems and has been tailored specifically for each model individually.
Bose estimates the system is 30 per cent smaller than ‘systems with comparable audio performance’ and is 40 per cent lighter. This results in 50 per cent less energy used than its rivals.
Priced at £1,500, the Bose Pack also offers some styling touches to the interior and exterior of the five-seat Scenic MPV and the larger seven-seat Grand Scenic.
These include 17" black alloy wheels, gloss black door mirrors and Bose badges on the front wheelarches.
Inside, the pack adds gloss black piano black finish to the dashboard and Bose logos on the door sills. Extra equipment includes carpet mats, dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors and an ‘electrochrome’ rear view mirror that prevents the driver being dazzled by others’ light.
This is on top of standard equipment including front fog lamps, rear electric windows, leather steering wheel, automatic headlights and a Carminat TomTom satellite navigation system with remote control.
The Renault Scenic Dynamique TomTom with the additional Bose Pack starts from £20,250 and is available to order now from UK Renault dealers.
The Bose Pack is available on all Renault Scenic and Renault Grand Scenic models with the exception of the 1.6 VVT 110 engine.
