The French car maker signed a deal with Bose in 2008 to include the premium sound systems in the top ranges of its cars and has now extended it further in four limited edition models.
Renault has not announced full details of the new limited edition cars and any extra equipment they will include.
However, it has confirmed the Megane family car, Laguna saloon, Scenic people carrier and Koleos SUV will be offered in the special edition range.
The models are expected to feature extra speakers inside the car and some exterior and interior styling touches to differentiate the limited editions from the standard model range.
Bose says the audio system will provide ‘a natural and realistic sound bringing listeners all the nuances of the music with near live concert quality at the front and back of the car’.
The Bose limited edition cars will go on sale in March, but it is not known if they will be available in right-hand drive configuration for the UK market.
The launch will be accompanied by an advertising campaign including a competition for web users to win a ticket to a private concert by singer and songwriter Melody Gardot in Paris in April.
In recent weeks Renault has launched a host of special edition cars, including racing-inspired Gordini models and new entry-level Bizu editions.
Renault is attempting to simplify its car range by offering fewer specification levels across all of its cars, but has stated it will continue to offer special edition versions of popular models throughout 2011.
