Ford will display the new five-door hatchback at the Lakeside shopping centre in Essex for four days from February 17.
Over 7,500 people a day will be able to view the car, which will appear in Debenhams at the retail park and give customers the chance to view and even order the car before deliveries begin.
Jon Wellsman, Ford Britain sales director, said: “UK motorists are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Ford Focus, replacing the model which was top selling car for 10 years.
"Essex is the Ford brand’s spiritual home, so putting our newest car on display to Lakeside shoppers will please our local Ford fans."
Essex is the home of Ford’s Dagenham factory, which produces Ford’s eco-friendly range of EcoBoost engines. The UK is now the largest supplier of Ford EcoBoost engines in the world and supplies powerplants for C-Max, Mondeo and S-Max cars.
Deliveries of the new Ford Focus have already started in the UK, including Perrys Ford dealers in Aylesbury (Griffin Lane) and High Wycombe (111-121 London Road).
Available in five-door hatchback or five-door estate versions, the new 2011 Ford Focus will come with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, including efficient units from the EcoBoost petrol and Duratorq diesel range.
Ford will equip the new Focus will a myriad of new technology, including a Low Speed Safety System, Active Park Assist, Lane Keeping Aid and Torque Vectoring Control in order to maintain its position at the top of the family car sales charts.
The new Ford Focus will be launched in the UK on 1 March to coincide with the new ’11’ registration plates priced from £15,995 for an entry level model.
