The original advert, featuring Henry, was first released five years ago and Renault has updated the idea for 2011 with a new take on the Va Va Voom theme.
The advert features an underground exhibit featuring clips from famous films including Breakfast at Tiffany’s and One the Waterfront.
Guests include Rihanna and Thierry Henry, as well as a white Clio RenaultSport, the performance version of the long-running supermini.
The Renault Clio has been on sale in different generations for over 20 years in the UK and as well as the popular Va Va Voom adverts also won acclaim for the ‘Papa and Nicole’ series of adverts in the 1990s.
Phil York, Renault UK Marketing Director, said, "We’ve filmed a brand new Renault Clio Va Va Voom ad because the campaign is still so popular after 5 years off the air.
"Rihanna and Dita are the current queens of Va Va Voom, so we asked them to show us exactly why. But we couldn’t make a new ad without Thierry and he looks pretty impressed."
The refreshed advertising campaign is timed to coincide with a number of Renault special offers and discounts for 2011, including a new model at the bottom of the range.
A new, entry-level Renault Clio Bizu edition was launched by Renault in 2011, lowering the price of the supermini to £10,395 for the three-door 88hp diesel version.
Other Renault Clio specifications include Dynamique TomTom, GT Line TomTom, and range-topping Expression trim levels. A special RenaultSport edition is also available in the Clio line up.
