Peugeot 5008 tops seven-seat poll

The Peugeot 5008 crossover topped the poll after being judged on space, reliability, quality, safety, equipment, refinement, performance, ride and handling.

It was also judged on the overall buying and selling experience, including residual values and cost of ownership.

Bob Wright, General Manager at Perrys commented on the poll: "What Car Magazine is a well respected auto magazine and we are delighted that the Peugeot 5008 has been recognised as the best seven seater car on the market."

The Peugeot 5008 is no stranger to awards. The car has previously picked up the Scottish MPV of the Year from Scottish motoring writers, as well as Compact MPV and Best MPV in the Diesel Car Magazine awards 2010.

The seven-seat MPV features a five-star safety rating and comes with a host of equipment as standard, including air conditioning, alloy wheels, Peugeot Connect Sound system and a choice of option packs to improve the level of specification.

Engines include three petrol and two diesel options, with a choice of manual or automatic gearbox. Best performing models offer CO2 emissions as low as 134g/km – or just £110 per year.
