Named the Jaguar XKR 175 – a number to indicate the number of models to be produced – the special edition was revealed for the first time at the prestigious Pebble Beach event.
Although it won’t be available to UK customers, the Jaguar XKR 175 is based on the standard XKR with the Speed Pack added.
The 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine delivers 503bhp and the top speed has been increased to 174mph.
Unique to the US and Canada edition of the 75th anniversary edition model is a new aerodynamic package including front air dam, side sills, rear diffuser and a large rear spoiler.
The Jaguar XKR 175 has 20" alloy wheels fitted as standard as well as red brake callipers to offset the black exterior colour.
Each of the 175 models has a unique number written on a sill tread plate and will be upholstered in leather with cranberry stitching.
Customers can expect to pay $104,500 for the XKR 175 (around £68,000) and the 175 models will be split between the US and Canada only.
The standard XKR, available in the UK, is the tuned, performance version of the new Jaguar XJ luxury coupe. The ‘R’ range also extends to an XFR and XKR in the Jaguar line-up.
