The check will cover a range of safety tests to ensure cars and drivers are ready for summer motoring in the UK or Europe.
Longer journeys in heavy-laden cars are more frequent during the summer months, in particular the school holidays, and Peugeot has warned customers to ensure their car is up to the task.
The summer check, carried out by trained Peugeot technicians, covers tyres, brakes, windscreen wipers, steering and suspension, exhaust emissions, lights and all major fluid levels for £9.99.
Any problems with the vehicle and potential repairs needed are then included in a report as part of the no-obligation tests, says Peugeot.
The cost will also cover a hi-visibility jacket and warning triangle to all customers – a legal requirement in many European countries.
Commenting on the Peugeot Summer Check, David Higgins, Parts and Service Director Peugeot UK, said: "As well as producing vehicles that are a delight to own and drive, we also want to make sure our customers enjoy a safe and as trouble-free time with their vehicles as possible."
The offer will run from now until the end of September at Peugeot dealers such as the Perrys Peugeot dealers in Aylesbury, Blackburn, Bolton, Clitheroe, Milton Keynes, Nelson and Portsmouth.
Gill Ashton, General Manager at Perrys, says: "At Perrys we have a full team of highly trained staff who are ready to offer advice on your car’s needs. So, if you feel you’d rather be safe than sorry this summer and would like to have your vehicle given the once over by an expert then we’d be happy to help."
