Simply Classics & Sports Car Comes To Beaulieu

Beaulieu’s Simply Classics & Sports Car on Saturday 18 June will celebrate the best-loved sports cars and classic cars on the roads, with a fantastic display in the grounds of the National Motor Museum on Father’s Day weekend.

One of the highlights of the Beaulieu events calendar, Simply Classics & Sports Car promises to please not only motoring fans, but also lovers of everything retro, with new show features for 2016. Admire a wide variety of pre-1990 classics, and sport cars of all ages in the vibrant display, spanning family saloons, classic commercials, roofless roadsters and more. Show regular the Bournemouth & Poole MG Owners’ Club will also showcase a fantastic selection of members’ cars on its club stand.

Simply Classics & Sports Car appeals to varied motoring tastes and is a great day out for all the family. In tune with the era, Bows & Braces will create a Vintage Village for the show with authentic clothes from the 1920s to the 1980s and nostalgic home decoration including up-cycled furniture, jewellery, kitchenware, luggage, records and maps. A Vintage tea tent is not to be missed.

Owners of qualifying vehicles are invited to drive into the grounds of the National Motor Museum to park, admire the other cars on display and catch up with other enthusiasts, as well as enjoy all of the features of one of the south’s leading visitor attractions, for the great value participant ticket price of £10 an adult and £5 a child for those displaying their sports car or pre-1990 classic.

Tickets can be bought on arrival at Beaulieu or in advance online at or on 01590 612888. Entry into the Beaulieu parkland with your classic or sports car is from 9.30am, when the Brabazon Restaurant will be serving breakfast snacks and hot and cold drinks.
