Citroën enjoyed a successful start to the Commercial Vehicle Show, winning the Trade Van Driver Magazine ‘Best Conversion Range’ award 2016. Magazine Editor, Matthew Eisenegger, presented the award to Jeremy Smith in recognition of the Citroën Relay Ready to Run and Ready to Run Specialist programmes.
Jeremy Smith, Citroën’s Head of Commercial Vehicles & Business Sector Operations, remarked; “We are delighted to win the Best Conversion Range award for the second year in succession. Our Ready to Run Specialist programme has been expanded this year, due to customer demand and technological improvements. The Ready to Run Specialist range now includes a wide choice of temperate-controlled vans, minibuses, glass carrying vehicles and other bespoke conversions for models in the Citroën LCV range. It’s always Citroën’s aim to offer the widest possible range of products for our customers, and the Ready to Run programmes help achieve this goal.”
Ready To Run
Citroën’s recently-expanded Relay Ready to Run range of ready-bodied vehicles already included high-specification, competitively priced tippers, dropsides and Luton vans. Now it also offers: a Plant & Go small plant carrier; a car transporter and two new crew vans.
The success of Citroën’s Relay Ready to Run & Ready to Run Specialist programmes was, according to the judges, due to; “The diversity and capability of the products within the range. The Ready to Run range of tippers, dropsides and Luton vans – now joined by the car transporter, plant carrier and crew vans – formally embraces what the trade needs, all with the added benefit of being available ex-stock with the peace-of-mind provided by a full Citroën factory warranty on both chassis and conversion.”
