Perrys have successfully managed to defend their digital titles at the Automotive Management Awards 2016.
For the second time in as many years, the group have taken home the Best Social Media Campaign and Best Use of TV/Video awards.
In the Best Social Media Award, the judges were looking for “Clear demonstration of a well thought out social media strategy that has the buy-in of all your staff, not just those using social media.”
Perrys were also awarded the Best Use of TV/Video Award for “clear reasoning as to why TV or video was the most appropriate means of exploiting an opportunity or solving a problem.”
So, what are the AM Awards?
Hosted by newscaster/Strictly Come Dancing finalist Katie Derham, the night was full of glitz and glamour as the UK Motor Industry’s finest dressed to the nines at Birmingham’s International Conference Centre.
Independently audited and judged by a panel of industry experts, including Hugh Dickerson from Google and Stephen Briers from AM, Perrys were nominated for all three retailer awards in the Digital section.
“Digital Marketing is everyone’s job”
Lee Manning, Perrys Digital Marketing Manager said: “The group have worked incredibly hard over the last 12 months to build on their digital presence.
“All of our dealership staff have been key to achieving this and have been fantastic in supporting the digital changes we’ve made; truly emphasising the belief that at Perrys, Digital Marketing is everyone’s job.”
What else have Perrys been up to?
This news comes straight after the group’s impressive commendation for their Automotive Content Strategy at the Drum Awards in November, and the Motor Trader Awards 2015 where they were also praised for their video content and innovative website – winning Digital Initiative of the Year and Best Dealer Website.
Other accolades include eBay Motors Dealer Group of the Year for the second year running and a trio of awards at the 2015 Automotive Management Awards (Best Use of Video Award, Best Social Media Campaign Award and Best Digital Initiative).
