The new DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio are the latest models to be unveiled by DS Automobiles. Perrys motoring journalist, Tim Barnes-Clay, was in Paris last night for the exclusive reveal.
Since the launch of the DS 3 in 2010, 390,000 customers have been seduced by the charms of this stylish French supermini. The car has become an automotive icon, renowned for its distinctive personality, looks, driving pleasure and technology. Indeed, both the DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio have always offered the best in terms of comfort and dynamism.
Now, a new chapter has been opened as the DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio become even more attractive with a revised front end, a multitude of personalisation possibilities, enhanced connectivity and driving assistance systems. For top-level driving dynamism in the city and out on the open road, the new models can also be specified with the latest PureTech 130 three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. What’s more, the latest-generation EAT6 automatic gearbox can be paired with the PureTech 110 power unit.
In addition, the new DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio will be available in Performance specification, boasting an impressive 208hp. This will appeal to all petrolheads – male or female.
Certainly, the reveal of the new DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio will be of significant interest to all UK new car buyers in all guises. And that isn’t hyperbole. More DS 3 models were sold in Britain last year than in France or any other market on the planet.
