Its nearly time for the famous Frankfurt motor show, in just a few weeks, thousands of people from the motoring world will descend on the German town to see the major car makers show off their latest offerings; here are just a few to look out for.
Alfa Romeo Giulia
If this car isn’t something to be excited about then you may well be suffered from a lack of interest in cars. Alfa Romeo are launching a BMW 3 Series killer and it looks amazing. Not only is it tough looking but it is also still following the Italian trait of being beautiful. The real fun however is going to be the engine that goes into the top of the range model; an aluminium 3.0 litre bi-turbo V6 that will produce just a touch over 500bhp. Now are you excited? Well you will be when you hear the engine is actually developed by Ferrari! Lower models will be packed with revvy 4 cylinder turbo charged engines too, this car is about to become the ultimate alternative to the BMW 3 series for people who want some extra style and feeling with their cars.
Surely the most famous little car ever made; the Fiat 500 is getting yet another version with new models being shown off at the show. The 500’s story is set to run and run as Fiat keep pushing the boundaries of what a Fiat 500 can actually be. Much like BMW have done with the Mini, but lets be honest, the 500 is cooler isn’t it?
The build up to this launch has certainly been big, with a supporting role in Team Sky’s Tour De France win and more press shots than Brittany Spears when she shaved her hair off, the F-Pace is set to change Jaguar forever. The Frankfurt motor show is the official début for this SUV Crossover and there are a lot of people looking forward to seeing it.
It may not be quite as exciting as a Jaguar SUV but the Megane is a very popular car and when any brand launches a new version of a big selling model the motoring experts all get very excited. The test photos show the new version looking sportier than before which should give it yet more appeal to a younger market.
As with the Megane, the Astra is a big seller and a big name. The new car has been seen in a number spy shots and people are very interested to see more about the sporty version being dubbed the new GSi. There is a sports tourer and the normal hatch back versions too so the Frankfurt Vauxhall stand is going to be a busy one.
