Pricing revealed for new Renault Kadjar

Renault has officially revealed that the all-new Kadjar crossover will be priced from just £17,995 when it goes on sale in the UK this September.

Blending SUV, estate and saloon elements into one model, the Kadjar was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and will join Renault’s hugely-successful Captur model.

Four trim levels are available, starting with the entry-level Expression+, the mid-level Dynamique Nav and Dynamique S Nav trims, and finally the top-of-the-range Signature Nav model.

Four different trims available

Standard kit includes an automatic electronic parking brake and front foglights, along with LED daytime running lights, tinted windows and a seven-inch touchscreen instrument panel.

Other equipment which features across all models include all-around electric windows, air conditioning and Bluetooth, along with DAB radio and a USB socket.

Dynamique Nav models add 17-inch alloy wheels, a cornering function on the front foglights and chrome exterior detailing, along with dual-zone climate control and a leather steering wheel.

The seats also come with electric lumbar adjustment, while this model is finished off with an Arkamys digital audio system, Renault’s R-Link 2 infotainment system and sat-nav.

Similar to the Dynamique Nav, the Dynamique S Nav model features 19-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, alongside extra leather upholstery, alongside a one-touch folding rear bench.

Finally, the range-topping Signature Nav trim comes with 19-inch alloys, full LED headlights and a panoramic sunroof, along with an eight-speaker Bose sound system and extra leather touches.

Renault also offers a range of seven different optional packages, which includes the Climate Pack to upgrade the climate control and a Parking Pack to add parking sensors to the Dynamique Nav model.

There’s also a Parking Pack Premium for the Signature Nav, along with a Safety Pack Premium for more safety equipment and a Techno Pack Premium which includes all of the former options.

Finally, there’s also a Convenience Pack which adds the one-touch rear seat folding system from the Dynamique S Nav, plus the Leather Pack with heated and height-adjustable leather seats.

Extensive equipment list and efficient engines

Three engines are available, ranging from a 128bhp 1.2-litre petrol, a 108bhp 1.5-litre diesel and a 130bhp 1.6-litre diesel, with fuel economy of up to 74.3mpg with CO2 emissions as low as 99g/km.

The Kadjar will also be available with a choice of either manual or dual-clutch automatic gearboxes depending on the engine choice, alongside intelligent four-wheel drive.
