Renault has updated both its Twingo and Clio ranges with the addition of new trims and options to further boost their appeal.
The Renault Clio now comes with the option of a new GT Line Look Pack, available on Dynamique MediaNav and Dynamique S MediaNav trims, for an additional £400 over list price.
Adding a sportier look, the GT Line pack comes with 16- and 17-inch GT Anthracite alloy wheels, exclusive GT front and rear bumpers, plus LED daytime running lights and a chrome exhaust pipe.
Renaultsport sill kick plates and GT Line badging are also included, along with Anthracite door mirror casings and a choice of Glacier White, Diamond Black, Flame Red or Mercury paint finishes.
Both the base Dynamique MediaNav and Dynamique S MediaNav models have been updated as well, with new white instrument lighting, grey door armrests and handles, plus matt chrome detailing.
Likewise, Expression and Expression+ trims now come with updated gear surrounds, while the higher trim levels come with a leather-rimmed steering wheel and an optional rear parking camera.
Twingo new range-topping trim
The Twingo city car also now benefits from a new range-topping trim, the Dynamique S, which adds all of the features from the previously-optional Sport Pack to the pre-existing Dynamique trim.
As a result, standard features on the Dynamique S now includes aluminium pedals, red and black part leather upholstery and a red interior touch pack, alongside 16-inch sport alloy wheels.
Matt black side decals come as standard, alongside a red exterior touch pack, with the option of white cost-free, which adds extra colour and flair to the Twingo’s outer features.
The Dynamique S Twingo also comes with LED daytime running lights, cruise control and a lane departure warning system, plus a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob.
Like the Clio, it comes with new white instrument backlighting, while it also features air conditioning, a built-in trip computer and a gearchange indicator as standard across the range.
Powered by a 0.9-litre turbocharged engine, the Dynamique generates 89bhp, which is enough to take it from 0 to 62mph in 10.8 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 103mph.
It’s also incredibly efficient, thanks to start-stop technology, which means that it can manage 65.7mpg, with CO2 emissions of just 99g/km, making it road tax free.
The Renault Clio range is available to buy from Perrys Renault dealerships now, priced from £10,995, while the Twingo city car is priced from £9,495.
Available in Crystal White, Diamond Black or Flame Red finishes, the new Twingo Dynamique S is available to order now, priced from £12,545, and first deliveries are expected in April.
