How NOT to clear the ice on your car window! This week on Facebook

Every Friday, we take a look back at the most popular moments on the Perrys Facebook pages over the last 7 days! Don’t forget to like the Perrys Facebook channel if you don’t want to miss out on the latest car news, reviews and fun.

Monday February 2nd – Breaking the ice in an unusual way

We’re not sure whether this particular gentleman is an amateur boxer, or he is just a huge Rocky fan? Either way he’s come up with a plan to make his mornings a bit more exciting.

Take a look below and see! Although we have to say we can’t condone this, you can seriously damage the motor in your electric windows if you put your windows down when they’re iced over… and of course, you’ll probably hurt your hand too!

Wednesday February 4th – Three new Fords!

There might be a problem at Ford… we don’t think they’re quite sure when Christmas ends! They’ve been showering us with new cars for ages now – just in the last few months we’ve seen three new high-performance models, including the Ford GT, the Shelby GT350R Ford Mustang and the Ford Focus RS. Thanks Ford!

The RS was only revealed this week but we’ve been wanting a new one for years! You can see it in that classic Ford blue below (we think they might have bought that paint in bulk…).

With these three models launched in a short space of time – which is your favourite?

Thursday February 5th – Perrys Barnsley – Mitchell’s 18th Birthday!

It’s been Mission Impossible down at Perrys Barnsley this week. Sales Exec Andy had the secret task of  helping Mr and Mrs Purseglove surprise their son with a new Vauxhall Corsa.

Mitchell thought his parents were just taking him car shopping, little did he know that they had already purchased the 3 door hatchback for him and it was wrapped up and waiting!

As you can see below they pulled it off without hitch – Mitchell had no idea! He must be chuffed, we’re especially jealous of those fantastic white alloys! A fantastic car for a new driver – happy 18th birthday Mitchell!

So, what was your first car?
