Vauxhall has released pricing and specs for the new ADAM ROCKS AIR.
The latest addition to the ADAM range, the ADAM ROCKS AIR was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, and is available to order now from £14,695.
Vauxhall says that model is the first urban mini three-door crossover ever, mixing the chic design of the regular ADAM city car with the toughness and versatility of a crossover.
Taller, wider and more robust than the standard ADAM, the ROCKS AIR model has also received modified suspension and steering.
A choice of standard 17-inch wheels or optional 18-inch alloys are also available, while the model also comes with a wide range of personalisation options including unique colours and wheel clips.
Satin chrome elements bedeck the exterior, while the ROCKS AIR also features a revised trapezoidal grille, an integrated rear roof spoiler and LED daytime running lights as standard.
Combining rugged versatility with open air fun, thanks to an electric folding canvas roof that can be operated at up to 85mph.
The roof module has also been specially tuned to insulate outside noise, while the canvas roof, which can be ordered in Black or Sweet Coffee colours, has been weatherproofed for extra durability.
On the inside, the ADAM ROCKS AIR is available in two new interior trims exclusive to the model, which include a special instrument cluster, plus matching seat and door panel colours.
Standard equipment includes remote central locking, a leather steering wheel and tinted glass. Optional add-ons include Vauxhall’s IntelliLink system, plus an upgraded sound system, rear park assist and start-stop technology.
On-board safety equipment includes hill start assist, automatic park assist and an automatic ultrasonic sensor-based system to aid parking in tricky spots.
The ADAM ROCKS AIR also includes blind spot alert and a warning LED display to warn drivers when other cars get too close. A package that includes all available safety functions is available for an extra £450.
Power comes from a choice of three ECOTEC petrol engines, a turbocharged 1.0-litre unit with an output of 133bhp, a 69bhp 1.2-litre version or a slightly larger 1.4-litre variant available with an 89bhp output.
The 1.0-litre turbocharged engine the most brisk, taking the ADAM AIR from 0-62mph in 9.9 second, before going on to a top speed of 121mph.
It’s also the most economical, with a combined fuel economy of 55.4mpg and CO2 emissions of only 119g/km.
Prices for the Vauxhall ADAM AIR ROCKS begin at £14,695. The model can be ordered now, and first deliveries are expected to begin later this month.
