Renaultsport Megane 275 Trophy
Regardless, if you’re a fan of high-performance Renault’s, there’s always the Renaultsport Megane 275 Trophy.
The more potent version of the regular production Megane uses an upgrade of the same powerplant in the standard Renaultsport model.
A turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol unit is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and has a power output of 271bhp.
The 275 Trophy also utilises Renault’s Cup chassis as standard, which is used for the manufacturer’s racing cars. The Cup chassis is stiffer than the standard chassis used in a Renaultsport Megane and consequently delivers a more precise and composed driving experience.
Renault has also given its Megane 275 Trophy a range of other new and improved components to boost overall speed and handling through the corners.
These changes include the lightweight titanium exhaust system and the car also has a more aggressive engine note then the standard Renaultsport Megane.
Interior updates also include leather and Alcantara sports seats complete with distinct red stitching and an alloy gear lever.
Pricing for the Renaultsport Megane 275 Trophy begins at £28,930.
