A striking new advert for the Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe has been released online. It features Jaguar’s newest UK brand ambassador and Chelsea Football Club Manager, Jose Mourinho, and launches a new advertisement campaign called #LiveFearless.
New Microexpressions Jaguar Video
The new video, titled ‘Microexpressions’, shows Mourinho in a variety of close-up shots as he sits behind the wheel of a new F-TYPE R Coupe.
During this video Mourinho explains in voiceover how he is fuelled by fear. He also explains that if you pay close enough attention, you can spot his carefully masked emotional tells through what’s called microexpressions. The football manager is referring to quick and subtle facial movements that happen during intense situations.
This latest video follows another dramatic advertisement from Jaguar courtesy of its ‘British Villains’ rendezvous. The video which debuted in the UK back in April is also viewable online and features famous British actors including Sir Ben Kingsley, Mark Strong and Tom Hiddlestone.
Win A Jaguar F-Type R Coupe for a week
In addition to this new advertisement Jaguar is also hosting a new competition offering one lucky winner a Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe for a whole week. The contest, which runs until 9th June 2014, is available to enter through various social media platforms.
To enter contestants have to post a photo or video that showcases their interpretation of fearlessness. This can be done within the context of design, film, fashion or music or a personal act of conquering fear.
Submissions can be entered through Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #LiveFearless included.
The Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe which could be won for a week is available in the UK market now priced from £85,000.
The R version of the spectacular new two-door sports car is the top model in the F-TYPE Coupe range. It features a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine, producing 488bhp and mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Jaguar’s F-TYPE R Coupe can go from a standstill to 60mph in just four seconds and it can reach an electronically limited top speed of 186mph.
Other specifications in the F-TYPE Coupe range include the base model, priced from £51,235 and featuring a 335bhp 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine. While it’s not as powerful as the R model it is still impressively quick, covering the zero to 60mph sprint in 5.1 seconds, while the top speed is 161mph.
Also available is the mid-range F-TYPE S Coupe which is priced at £60,235. This also has a 3.0-litre V6 petrol unit but output is increased to 375bhp. The zero to 60mph sprint time of the S Coupe is 4.8 seconds while the top speed is 171mph.
