Fiat wins two Trade Van Driver Awards

Fiat has been honoured with two accolades at the 2014 Trade Van Driver Magazine Awards, including Best Trade Van Range. The Italian manufacturer has also taken the Best Small Pick Up award for its Doblo Work Up model.

Trade Van Driver magazine is the only UK publication to cater specifically for owner-drivers and small fleet operators. Their two trophies for Fiat were presented to the company during the recent 2014 Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show held at Birmingham’s NEC Arena.

The judging panel for these awards consisted of both a team of Trade Van Driver journalists and a group of readers who use commercial vehicles as an important part of their business. This year’s panel were particularly impressed by Fiat’s latest commercial vehicle range. The panel commented: “The needs of trade users are many and varied and FIAT Professional has taken massive strides in the past few years towards fulfilling all those requirements.

“FIAT Professional offers a superb range of models and has a real “can do” attitude towards trade buyers: A worthy winner indeed!”

Commenting on the victorious Fiat Doblo Work Up, the award judging panel added: “No-one has come up with a better alternative. The FIAT Doblo Work Up offers tough pick-up quality but with excellent car-like comfort – a truly winning combination!”

The Director of Fiat Professional UK, Sebastian Fedrigo, reacted: “Winning these prestigious Trade Van Driver awards highlights not only the broad appeal of our commercial vehicle range, it also emphasises how important the owner-operator and small fleet market is to us.”

Currently occupying Fiat’s latest van range is the Doblo Pick Up alongside the Ducato, Scudo and Fiorino, which are all available as both panel van and passenger transport vehicles. Also available in the latest Fiat range is the Punto Van.

The award-winning Doblo Pick Up is one of multiple conversions available to customers when choosing the compact but highly versatile Fiat Doblo Cargo.
