Mazda has added its stylish new 2014 Mazda3 hatchback to the driving school scheme, making the model available to driving instructors all across the UK.
The Mazda3 was launched earlier this year and his since earned a reputation for itself as one of the most innovative and stylish hatchbacks on the market.
Mazda is now making the new hatchback available to driving instructors across the UK with added perks to make it even more attractive. These new incentives to driving instructors include a cash saving of £1,350 on the price of a new Mazda3 and dual control fitting free of charge.
The Mazda2 is also offered as part of the driving school scheme, available with a £650 discount. Already an established favourite among driving schools, all models of the current Mazda2 except Colour Editions are available via the School Programme. The Mazda Driving School Programme will continue to run until 30th June 2014.
The Head of Fleet for Mazda, Steve Tomlinson, commented: “The Mazda2 is in regular demand from driving instructors. Nevertheless, it is also clear that some instructors want a larger car which delivers on safety, environmental and fuel efficiency benefits whilst also being used both to instruct pupils and as their ‘main’ family vehicle.
“That is why we have extended the programme to include our all-new Mazda3, which in its first four months on sale has been in huge demand from both retail and corporate customers.”
The Mazda2 range currently starts from £11,195 while the Mazda3 is priced from £16,695.
Available in both hatchback and saloon-inspired fastback bodystyles, the new Mazda3 offers a choice of 36 models in its range. Since it first launched in January this year, the new Mazda3 has proven very popular with customers thanks to its design and its environmental and fuel efficiency benefits which don’t compromise on performance.
The family car can achieve up to 72.4mpg on the official combined fuel cycle and CO2 emissions are recorded from just 104g/km.
Engine options available for the new Mazda3 include a 148bhp 2.2-litre SKYACTIV diesel unit. Also available is a 99bhp 1.5-litre petrol, and a 2.0-litre petrol with either 118bhp or 163bhp.
The trim levels for the new Mazda3 start with ‘SE’ followed by ‘SE Nav’, ‘SE-L’, ‘SE-L Nav’ and ‘Sport Nav’. Standard onboard kit for the new Mazda3 range includes manual air conditioning, cruise control and a multimedia system which supports internet connectivity.
