Fiat has publically revealed its new Sportivo trim level for its current van range. It’s the most upmarket trim for Fiat’s latest vans yet and delivers smarter styling and new engine options.
During this week’s 2014 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, Fiat has given the new range-topping Sportivo trim its public debut on both its Ducato and Fiorino vans.
New Fiat Sportivo Price Range
Fiat’s new Sportivo trim is also available for the Doblo and Scudo vans. The Sportivo trim costs £700 more than the previous range-topping Tecnico trim on Fiat’s van models. Prices for the Sportivo range start at £9,695 (including delivery but excluding VAT) for the Fiorino Sportivo 1.3 95 Multijet II model.
Other models in the Sportivo range include the Doblo Cargo Sportivo 1.6 105 Multijet, the Scudo Sportivo 2.0 130 Multijet and the Ducato Sportivo 2.3 150 MultiJet II.
Fiat Sportivo Kit
This new trim gives each current Fiat van a sportier appearance by adding alloy wheels, painted bumpers and exclusive side-stripes for the exterior.
All the standard kit found with the Technico trim is carried over to the Sportivo. That means the new vans come with air conditioning, parking sensors and front fog lights. The Fiat Scudo Sportivo also gets Bluetooth connectivity with a satellite navigation dock as standard.
The Director of Fiat Professional UK, Sebastiano Fedrigo, said: “We are delighted to welcome not only the new Sportivo models onto the FIAT Professional stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, but also the vehicles of some of our most valued customers.”
Fedrigo added: “Our growing success in meeting the demands and expectations of these high-profile companies highlights the increasing competitiveness of our commercial vehicle line-up. And with more new products, derivatives and technologies in the pipeline, we hope to see Fiat Professional’s success continue into 2014 and beyond!”
Fiat is building on a successful year in 2013 where its vans not only outpaced the UK’s rebounding LCV market but also grew faster than any of its rivals. Fiat UK’s van sales surged to 13,500, an astounding 70 percent growth compared to 2012 and twice the rate of growth of its nearest rival.
During last year Fiat’s van range also scooped a host of major awards from numerous influential UK publications. These included VansA2Z, Trade Van Driver, Fleet Van World, GreenFleet, What Van? and Fleet Van.
All models which complete the Fiat Sportivo range are available to order now in the UK.
