Introducing the enhanced 2013 Mazda3 range

The Mazda3 is already a solid choice in the family hatchback market, combining useful practicality with a sporty profile appearance. Now starting from 1 April 2013 certain specifications in the Mazda3 range, the Venture and Sport Nav trims, will be enhanced at no extra cost.

The sales director for Mazda UK, Peter Allibon, comments: “[The] Mazda3 was already a great car and the changes to the three enhanced models bring extra style. With extra equipment, zero deposit and 0% APR finance, these Mazda3 models will have added appeal to consumers visiting our dealers’ showrooms this spring”.

He added: “Made exclusively in Japan, the Mazda3 five-door hatchback was Mazda’s best-selling model worldwide in 2012 and the second-best selling model in the UK, after the compact Mazda2”.

“The Mazda3 1.6-litre diesel has been hugely popular and the 2.2-litre diesel with 185PS delivers an amazing combination of high performance and low fuel consumption. It is still one of the highest power C-segment diesel models of any brand available in Britain”.

Far from resting on their laurels though, the Mazda3 Venture and Sport Nav models now feature more equipment when included with a 1.6-litre petrol or diesel engine or the 2.2-litre diesel for the Sport Nav derivative.

Both trim versions of the Mazda 3 now include 17″ Bright Finish alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, Black Mica door mirror housings and new sporty black cloth seat trim with red stitching.

There’s also a new optional exterior paintjob called Zeal Red Mica for these updated Mazda3 models, offered as a £495 option. This joins the other seven existing paint colours available for the Mazda3 Venture and Sport Nav editions.

Focusing more on the special edition 2013 Mazda3 Venture, this specification gets even more new equipment to enjoy.

The list of new features for this specification includes extra sport styling features with a rear spoiler, front fog lamps, privacy glass and rear bumper sports trim being added to the mix.

Inside the enhanced Venture model meanwhile there’s now a leather steering wheel with audio controls, CD radio with Auxiliary jack and six speakers, plus TomTom satellite navigation with a 5.8-inch touch screen.

The gadgets continue further with the Venture also enjoying integrated Bluetooth, climate control, electric front and rear windows, automatic lights and wipers, cruise control and heated front sports seats to create a genuine premium car ambience.

Turning attentions towards the updated Mazda3 2.2-litre Sport Nav this time, and the range-topping hatchback acquires an even more distinctive appearance. This is thanks in large part to its new LED rear lights and added practicality with a heated front windscreen.

The Sport Nav’s 2.2-litre diesel engine combined with a six-speed manual transmission as standard allows the Mazda3 to cover the 0-62mph sprint in 8.2 seconds, and hit a top speed of 132mph. This specification of the hatchback also returns a combined fuel consumption of 52.3mpg and CO2 emissions are recorded at 142g/km.

On top all of these enhancements there are still a range of enticing deal packages available for the Mazda3 range.

Customers can choose 0 per cent APR finance with zero deposit and low-cost monthly payments from just £274 with the Venture specification, or from £323 when choosing the Mazda3 Sport Nav.

Prices for the enhanced Mazda3 models, which already enjoy an unusually generous standard specification, are unchanged, starting at £17,495 on-the-road for the 105ps 1.6-litre Venture petrol model

Prices rise to £18,995 for the 115ps 1.6-litre Venture diesel and to £20,995 for the 185ps 2.2-litre Sport Nav diesel.

The latest Mazda3 range is available now from Perrys Mazda Dealerships found in Barnsley, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Portsmouth and Preston.
