Kia models get Which Car? best buy approval

Which Car? has highlighted what it feels are the best cars to buy across all categories, no matter what people’s needs and budgets are for the coming year.

The Kia cee’d 1.6 CRDi 128 ISG was highlighted as the magazine’s best buy between £16 – £18,000 in the small family car category.

The Kia cee’d Sportswagen 1.4 CRDi 90 1ISG was named as the best estate under £18,000.

The Kia cee’d is currently available from £13,495, while the Kia cee’d Sportswagen can be bought from as little as £15,995.

What Car? is naming its best buys early in the year to help buyers decide what car is best for them. The cee’d is a great choice for families, thanks to its efficiency and practical nature.

The Kia cee’d can fit into tax band A, with versions able to emit as little as 97g/km CO2. That can give buyers road tax breaks and help them avoid the London Congestion Charge.

The car has also achieved a five-star Euro NCAP rating, making it one of the safest models in its class. Features on the Kia cee’d include air-conditioning, Bluetooth with voice recognition, front fog lights, projection headlights, USB ports, front electric windows and more.

Also available on the Kia cee’d is a seven-inch sat-nav touchscreen system, flex steer, audio connectivity and others.

The Kia cee’d Sportswagen family estate builds on the incredible features of the hatchback. Features include those mentioned above, as with the cee’d, but adds more equipment including an in-built trip computer, steering wheel mounted controls and more.

The Sportswagen also provides impressive safety and security specifications for added peace of mind. The car is fitted with an in-built alarm system, ISOFIX child seat anchors and speed/impact auto door locking and unlocking.

Both the Kia cee’d and Kia cee’d Sportswagen are both covered by the manufacturer’s popular seven-year/100,000 mile warranty scheme.

Kia has also recently announced that its new pro_cee’d GT and cee’d GT models will make their international debut at the Geneva Motor Show on 5 March. Kia has also teased a poitential rival to the Nissan Juke which will be unveiled in March.
