For the second year running, the Luton-based manufacturer Vauxhall has won the Business Car magazine award, earning praise for numerous aspects of the website that we will come to in a moment.
Vauxhall was the clear winner this year, taking the crown with a massive overall score of 94 per cent, up 6 per cent from their 2011 victory. With consistently high scores, it’s hard to imagine Vauxhall not retaining its place at the top of the automotive website summit for years to come.
The editor of Business Car magazine, Paul Barker, commented that ‘last year Vauxhall was a deserving winner and this year’s site is even better.’ He continued to add that ‘there’s a massive amount of content for fleet managers and company car drivers. Bold design and intuitive navigation make Vauxhall’s website easy to use.’
Vauxhall is a favourite with UK business fleets thanks to its selection of premium, affordable business cars.
These include the likes of the Vauxhall Astra, available in hatchback, Sport Tourer or sporty GTC coupe variations, and the Vauxhall Insignia, the UK’s best-selling large family car.
All of its models come with an EcoFlex version, which signifies a model that boasts fuel-saving technology such as stop-start to offer businesses lower company car tax rates and reduced fuel costs on-the-road.
To help fleet operators further, the website offers a Roadtrip app that can report on a driver’s mileage and help businesses manage fuel costs.
The website earned praise for offering cost calculators for business fleets including P11D and BiK figures for its entire car and van range.
Vauxhall’s Fleet Marketing and Motability Manager, Paul Adler, expressed his joy at the result, saying that ‘we’re delighted that our fleet website has been recognised by Business Car magazine.’
We’re sure that he’s looking forward to the 2013 awards. Meanwhile, business customers can see the latest Vauxhall business cars at a Perrys Vauxhall dealership.
