The personalisation pack has earlier appeared for other models in the current Jaguar range, including the XF, XK and more performance-focused XFR and XKR.
Now the Black Pack is set to arrive to the eagerly anticipated F-Type, which will go on sale to UK markets during mid-2013.
Little has been confirmed yet about the new Black Pack, but motorists will be able to see on the new F-Type when it appears in public on American soil for the first time.
Based on previous offerings from Black Packs on the Jaguar XF and XK, the F-Type Black Pack could cost customers an extra £900 to £1,000 in additional cost.
For this extra bit of money, buyers are likely to get more eye-catching parts of sharper and more distinctive body kit for the model, which can be combined with a limited list of body colour options. Changes could possibly include a distinct black painted finish for the alloy wheels, the grille and window surrounds.
The Jaguar F-Type will first be sold exclusively as a softop convertible model, with a hardtop coupe specification expected to follow at least a few months after the car’s launch.
Three specifications of the F-Type will go on sale; the standard model will use a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine with 335bhp. The mid-range F-Type S model has a similar engine but with its output increased to 375bhp.
The top of the range F-Type will boast a 488bhp supercharged V8 engine, and a 0-60mph sprint time of 4.2 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 186mph.
The Jaguar F-Type will go on sale during summer 2013, with prices starting from £58,500. UK motorists will be able to order the new sports car from Perrys Jaguar Dealership located in Huddersfield.
