16 years after the first Ibiza Cupra was introduced, the latest version of the hot hatch brings updated and more aggressive styling and a sporty engine which cuts the cars 0-62mph time just below seven seconds.
The engine with the new Ibiza Cupra is a 178bhp 1.4-litre TSI petrol unit, connected to a seven-speed Direct-Shift Gearbox. With it the car can cover the 0-62mph sprint in 6.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 142mph. The RenaultSport Clio also has an average fuel economy figure of 47.9mpg.
Styling changes for the 2013 Ibiza Cupra apply to both the exterior and interior of the hot hatch. On the outside the new Cupra now has more aggressively-styled bumpers, new headlamps complete with LED daytime running lights and a new sharper bonnet with a central crease.
At the back the new Ibiza Cupra also sports a large central exhaust placed within a matte black rear diffuser.
Inside the Ibiza Cupra’s interior now features a new steering wheel and new sports seats. The supermini also now includes Seat’s Portable System, which can also be found on the Mii city car launched earlier this year.
With this system the Ibiza Cupra features a touchscreen incorporating an infotainment computer, a CD/Radio player and satellite-navigation. The car also incorporates Bluetooth support.
The 2013 Seat Ibiza Cupra is available to order now from Perrys Seat Dealership based in Aylesbury.
