The Jaguar Concept Speedboat is one of those exciting concepts that are designed simply because the manufacturer can.
Jaguar Director of Design, Ian Callum is at the forefront of the Concept Speedboat. Callum explained: “We recognise that both our existing and future customers enjoy diverse and active lifestyles. With the launch of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake, we had an opportunity to create a vision of how our design philosophy might be applied to an alternative product, in which speed and beauty are also priorities.
“The Concept Speedboat looks powerful. It follows, in so many ways, the idea of a traditional speedboat but with the sleek and fast characteristics that you would expect from a Jaguar Car.”
Designed to highlight the sleek, attractive design, and the towing capacity, of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake, an estate version of the brand’s best-selling saloon, the new boat uses a carbon fibre fin, teak decking, a 2+1 seating configuration and a polished aluminium propeller.
And its main purpose is to help the Jaguar XF Sportbrake catch buyers’ eyes. The car itself can be bought from November from Perrys Jaguar dealerships and includes a selection of engines including a 2.2-litre diesel and a range-topping 3.0-litre V6 developing 275bhp.
The spacious Jaguar XF Sportbrake comes with a 1675-litre load space with the rear seats folded and a luxury interior using leather, wood veneers and aluminium details.
Jaguar XF Sportbrake prices start from a little under £32,000 for entry-level models. For more information about buying a Jaguar XF Sportbrake contact your nearest Jaguar dealership today.
