The stunning F-Type has been much talked about in the motoring industry since it was first revealed in full during the 2012 Paris Motor Show hosted back in September.
Now during next month the F-Type will appear in the UK for the first time, at Carter Lane Gardens, off St. Paul’s Churchyard on the walkway leading to the Millennium Bridge.
The Lord Mayor’s show is an annual London event which has been hosted in Britain’s capital city since 1535.
For this year’s show the F-Type will also appear alongside two models of the classic Jaguar E-Type sports car, which is widely seen as the F-Type’s spiritual predecessor.
The UK preview of the F-Type will be attended by the Jaguar Academy of Sport Ambassador, and 2012 London Olympic Triathlon Gold Medallist, Jessica Ennis. The British athlete will also drive the F-Type through the streets of London during the Lord Mayor’s procession
Jaguar will launch the F-Type to the UK market during the summer of 2013. It will initially be available as exclusively a soft-top convertible, but a hard top coupe bodystyle will arrive later in the year.
The Jaguar F-Type will be sold in three specifications and with three petrol engine options, including a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 delivering 335bhp or 375bhp.
The range-topping F-Type model will carry a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 boasting 488bhp, it will give the soft-top a 0-60mph sprint time of just 4.2 seconds and a limited top speed of 186mph.
Little wonder then the F-Type is attracting hype prior to its UK debut next month.
The Jaguar F-Type will be available to order at Perrys Jaguar Dealership located in Huddersfield.
