Vauxhall introduces DAB fitting for van range

With car technology rapidly developing, a feature such as DAB radio is a must for a competitive vehicle – and Vauxhall is making sure it doesn’t fall behind.

Vauxhall is offering a new deal which adds DAB radio to any of its van models at the low price of just £195. This van range includes the Astravan, Corsavan, New Combo, Vivaro and Movano.

With DAB digital radio, the vans benefit from a range of different stations, such as TalkSPORT, Planet Rock and Radio 4 Extra. Digital radio also delivers clearer sound quality to standard radio, allowing ease of use when surfing the air waves.

Digital radio will replace standard analogue radio in the UK when the switchover takes place, although deadlines for this to happen have been pushed back in recent years.

However, Vauxhall is getting in early to introduce the technology to its vans and will make it available as an option for van drivers from today.

Vauxhall Product Development Manager, Simon Gibbs said: “It’s great that Vauxhall van drivers will be able to tune into digital radio on the road, with an outstanding choice of stations compared with standard FM radio.”

These Vauxhall vans form the multi-purpose offering of the British manufacturers range, for example, the Vauxhall Movano van can accommodate loads of up to 4.38m in length.

Although Vauxhall’s van range offers ample storage space, the models still offer a comfy and well-equipped interior, with models like the Movano offering air conditioning, climate control and an optional air suspended driver’s seat for extra comfort.

Vauxhall vehicles are available from Perrys Vauxhall dealerships.
