2013 Ford Fiesta – Paris Motor Show 2012

The nation’s most popular small car, the Ford Fiesta will once again be sold in both three- and five-door variations for UK buyers at all Ford Perrys dealerships.

The new Ford Fiesta comes with an updated look including more aerodynamic lines at the front and a distinctive ‘open-mouth’ grille. However, the real changes come under the surface.

For example, Ford will use its new 1.0-litre petrol engine in the new Ford Fiesta. The three-cylinder engine first appeared in the Ford Focus and new Ford B-Max and will bring road tax-free petrol motoring to the Fiesta range for the first time.

It will also come with a selection of diesels all offering sub-100g/km of CO2 emissions and fuel economy close to 80mpg in the best-performing units.

The new Ford Fiesta will also use some of Ford’s exciting new in-car tech including the Ford SYNC system, which allows the satellite navigation, entertainment and phone systems to be used by voice commands.

This ensures the driver is focused purely on the road at all times, but if there is an accident, Ford’s emergency call system can notify the authorities automatically.

Ford has introduced a host of new colours for the Fiesta and a range of equipment-packed trim levels including the tech-heavy Titanuium trim.

It will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show alongside the new Ford EcoSport, a Fiesta-based supermini set to arrive in the UK next year.

The new Ford Fiesta will go on sale at Perrys Ford dealerships from early in 2013. Prices for the new Ford Fiesta have not been revealed by the car maker.
