The new specification has a larger cargo bay then the standard Fiat Doblo, with a total volume of 5.0 cubic meters, that’s 1.6 metres then you get inside a standard Doblo Cargo van.
The maximum payload on the Doblo XL is set at 1,000kg, similar to the standard Doblo Cargo van which estimates a capacity from 750kg to 1,000kg.
Fiat says the Doblo XL sits between the Purpose Built Van and Small Panel Van segments. The Italian manufacturer believes customers interested in the latter will be more attracted in buying their new van.
Engine options for the Fiat Doblo XL comprise of three turbodiesel units to choose from, including a 1.6-litre MultiJet with 90bhp or 105bhp and a 2.0-litre MultiJet with 135bhp.
Combi passenger van versions of the Doblo XL will only be available with the 2.0-litre MultiJet.
Standard equipment on the Doblo XL Cargo van includes air conditioning, CD player and twin rear sliding doors.
Optional gadgets are also available to add to the Fiat, like hands free Bluetooth support and satellite navigation.

Prices for the range start at £15,765 for the Doblo XL Cargo Base 1.6 MultiJet 105bhp model. For Doblo models with the 135bhp 2.0-litre diesel, pricing starts at £19,045.
