Ford has announced it will reveal its new 2013 Mondeo saloon online within the week, ahead of its public debut at the Paris Motor Show.
The production ready unveiling of the new Ford Mondeo has been a much anticipated event and fans have longed for a sneak peak of the model since its first concept unveiling back in January this year.
The internet unveiling is part of what Ford is calling ‘Go Further’, which will be held for an audience of just 2,500.
Due to the countless teaser images of the new Ford Mondeo, an official unveiling from the manufacturer will mean happy days for a select group of dealers and employees who are selected to feast their eyes on the new model.
The Ford Mondeo is expected to go on sale in late 2013 and upon release will revitalise the ever popular Mondeo name.
The new Mondeo will offer a refreshed exterior and a range of new technology. From the outside, the 2013 Mondeo boasts a new trapezoidal front grille design, which gives it a sportier edge over its predecessor.
Under the bonnet is where its key credentials lie as it is set to offer two frugal EcoBoost engines, an 180bhp 1.6-litre and a 200bhp 2.0-litre.
With its new refreshed appeal, the 2013 Mondeo will put Ford back on the popularity map against some of the industries key saloon competitors, like the Vauxhall Insignia.
Ford vehicles are available from Perrys Ford dealerships.
