The Citroen DS3 has already earned a stylish reputation for itself since its release in 2010, but the new soft top should further enhance this appeal and offer a whole new take on the multi-award winning supermini.
The new soft top has been made to match the DS3’s extensive trim levels and is available in six different colours: Grey, Brillant black, white, Carbotech, Infinite blue and Moondust grey.
The soft top roof takes just 16 seconds to unfold and can do so at speeds of up to 75mph.
The new DS3 convertible also gains fresh exterior features with a new rear LED light arrangement. This comes with new interior features to match with Granite blue leather upholstery and a new fangled blue stripped dashboard.
Although extensive information has not yet been announced, the DS3 convertible is likely to offer the same engine range as the standard DS range, which includes the frugal e-HDi diesel engine, which emits just 95g/km – making it road tax exempt.
The new soft top appeal of the Citroen DS3 will make it a key competitor for the likes of the Fiat 500C, which is also highly acclaimed for its exterior styling.
The new Citroen DS3 convertible will be released in early 2013 and prices will be announced closer to its release date.
Standard Citroen DS3 prices start from just £12,600.
Citroen vehicles are available from Perrys Citroen dealerships.
