New Jaguar F-Type readies for Paris

Jaguar is gearing up to reveal its new F-Type sports car at this year’s Paris Motor Show.

But as with every other manufacturer, Jaguar has been enticing its avid fans with numerous teaser images of the car, and even a video of it in its camouflaged skin.

Here is the video of the new Jaguar F-Type, enjoy.

This new Jaguar specimen was created in a whole new virtual environment to ensure that it delivered the ultimate sports car driving experience.

It is clear that the new F-Type incorporates a different exterior appeal to that of its Jaguar XK, XJ and XF siblings as it offers a rounder and flatter front end, which is similar to that of an older XK model. It will also be launched as a convertible model, giving it a sporty roadster appeal.

It makes use of three petrol engines, including a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 with 335bhp and 375bhp power outputs. There will also be a 5.0-litre V8 on offer, but power output for the variant will not be announced until Paris. These engines are matched with an eight-speed transmission.

According to Jaguar’s global brand director, Adrian Hallmark, the new F-type will mark the company’s return to the sports car market, of which the Jaguar brand originally helped to create.

This ultimately means Jaguar could have many other sport car releases up their sleeve. Fingers crossed.
